| DRY WAX - This paper derives its name from the process with which it is produced. Considered grease proof by some, this product is lightly coated on one side with wax, making its grease and moisture barrier properties perfect for wraps and sandwich bags.
POLYWAX - The only difference between this paper and dry wax is the surface finish appearance. This product is coated on one side with a slick, waxy layer. GREASE RESISTANT - Sometimes referred to as moisture resistant. This paper is great for preventing steam or moisture-laden ingredients from compromising package integrity. Although less resistant to moisture than dry wax, this chemically-treated paper is perfect for french fry and hamburger bags and is also good for wraps. Remember, once the barrier has been breached with moisture, oil and grease will follow. FOIL - Cushion foil available in spot laminations, offers barrier properties, dead fold and heat retention. QUILLON - Considered to have the same properties as grease proof, this release paper, also known as non-stick, is best used for baking. BASIS WEIGHT - The weight in pounds of a ream, 500 sheets of 24"x36" for a total of 3000 sq.in. paper, cut to its basic size in inches. Following is the basis weight of our different paper properties :
MEASURING A BAG - Bag measurements are always expressed as face (width) x gusset (side) x lenght. Measure the open gusset from front to back. Lenght does not include the top lip. |

Artwork, either in the form of electronic file or camera ready artwork, including pantone numbers and font names, should be forwarded to our graphic department for review. Should none be available, artwork can be produced at an extra charge.
Although we cannot work with files created in any word processing programs such as MS Word or Corel WordPerfect, CorelDraw files can be ezported as an "Illustrator (.ai)" file while keeping the text selected in "curves". Font files should always be included with your documents. A fax proof form will be prepared and returned for approval. Lead time, once the signed proof accompanied with an order has been received by us, will vary from 2-6 weeks. All production is done on a "make and ship" basis. We do not stock custom goods nor do we back order. A variation of +/- 10% is considered a complete order on all towelette orders. Set fees are charged for all new printing plates as well as changes to existing plates. Special and metallic inks are subject to additional charges.
