 D) CUSTOM PRINT INFORMATION Print Charges: Print charges are based on 25% or less face coverage using standard inks and print methods. For special requirements, please call for information and charges. Plate Charges: Plates will be billed at cost for all new and revised designs. Please submit art or sample for quote. Plate Change: Per order, there is a $50 per plate change for bags and $100 per plate change for sheets. Special Inks: Sanfacon provides “stock” ink at no charge. All other inks are $100 per color. Metallic inks are subject to an additional charge. Ink Change: Per order, there is a $75 per ink color change for bags and a $100 per ink color change for sheets. Metallic inks are additional. Minimum Order: See Custom Print Catalog for minimums. Lead Time: Lead time for special print is four weeks from approval of final art. Materials: All special materials will be run. Quantities can be estimated but cannot be guaranteed. |

 E) MATERIAL GLOSSARY Bleached Kraft: An untreated white sheet most commonly used for bread, pizza and popcorn bags. This economical sheet can be wet or dry waxed to provide grease and moisture barriers and is often used for bakery bags. Grease Resistant - Lightweight: Chemically treated for grease resistance, this white paper is ideal for french fry bags, sandwich bags and flat wraps. This paper is sometimes referred to as Stop Stayn. Grease Resistant - Medium-weight: Perfect for pizza and breadstick bags, this white paper is designed for a higher level of grease resistance. Use it where more strength and barrier properties are required. It is sometimes referred to as Lamopaque. Grease and Moisture Resistant: Medium-weight grades are chemically treated for both grease and moisture resistance. This paper is great for preventing steam or moisture-laden ingredients from compromising package integrity. It is also known as Lamopaque Plus. Dry Wax: This sheet derives its name from the process with which it is produced. Coated lightly on one side with wax, its grease and moisture barrier properties make it perfect for wraps and sandwich bags. Wet Wax: The immersion of this sheet into a wax bath provides the ultimate degree of protection. The ideal material for bakery bags, it is also used for bread and carry-out sacks. Foil: Available in spot laminations, foil offers barrier properties, dead fold and heat retention. Poly-Wax Coated: Primarily used for wraps, this sheet is coated on one side with a slick, waxy layer. In addition to its grease and moisture barrier qualities, it also offers release properties. It is also known as Excel. |
